James Whale, the director of these two films, was one of very few openly homosexual directors working in Hollywood in the 1930s. Many people think that the films are somewhat autobiographical for the director, as he saw himself, like the monster, as not being understood or accepted. Does this seem likely to you? If so, develop an argument in which you aim to convince the reader of your opinion by offering evidence.

In general, each paper you choose to write is eligible for up to 48 XP per KP, based on the traits of IDEAS, ORGANIZATION, and VOICE.
Possible additional XP may be granted if your WORD CHOICE, SENTENCE FLUENCY, CONVENTIONS and/or your PAPER PRESENTATION are exceptional.
ORGANIZATION IS IMPORTANT HERE. Please know that papers that are not paragraphed properly or that lack introductory or concluding paragraphs will likely be BOUNCED BACK unscored.
The MAXIMUM XP that can be earned for a single written piece is 400 XP.
Students may do as many of the posted options as they wish, but no option can be done more than once by the same student.
